Property Damage: Coverage pays for the damage caused by you to the other car(s), buildings, etc. up to the limit you purchased.
Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist: Coverage pays you (and passengers in your car) for injuries caused by the other party should they not have any Liability coverage (Uninsured) or insufficient coverage (Underinsured) up to the limit you purchased. This does not apply to a hit & run collision with injuries, the driver has to be identified.
Medical Payments: Coverage pays for injuries occurring in your car whether you are at fault or not up to the limit you purchased.
Comprehensive: Coverage pays for damage done to your car by; Fire, Theft, Acts of Nature and such, other than collision incidents.
Collision: Coverage pays for damage done to your car when it collides with another vehicle, building, etc. Colliding with birds or animals is considered a Comprehensive claim. A rollover of the car is considered a collision.
